Metrosexual Hair
When it comes to hair on a metrosexual, it is not just about the hair on your head. It includes the hair on your face, your arms, your legs, your chest, and… You know where. We’ll start with the head:
• Head: Your hair style is crucial. There are so many to choose from, and it really just depends on your personal taste and what you feel looks good on you (or what women think looks good on you). There are just a few ground rules you need to know before styling your hair. One is, avoid any foul-smelling hair wax or glue. Try to go with something that smells nice, please, odour ruins everything. Also, do not sport a mullet.
• Arms and Legs: again, it’s personal preference. If your arm hair is dark and very noticeable, get it waxed or shave it. Same with your under arms, it just seems a lot more hygienic if you shave your arm pits.
• Chest and Back: Chest hair depends. Sometimes it is pretty cool to have chest hair, as long as you don’t look like Chubacca, but generally, it is better to get rid of it. Especially if you’re working out, and have a well-built body, you should just shave it so that you can show it off. Get rid of your back hair though, just get rid of it.
• You know where: Try to get rid of it or at least trim it. You don’t want it to look like a rain forest in there, or like Castro smoking a cigar. Try to get of the hair there; it will make you feel more comfortable as well if it is trimmed and/or shaven. Plus, it makes your junk look bigger.
As for hair styling products, it all depends on what your hair is like. Just make sure that you shampoo and condition your hair 1-2 times a week, preferably with different shampoos and conditioners, not the two in one junk. Also, if you use lots of hair products, make sure you rinse your hair after you’re home to avoid early hair-loss.
Metrosexual Body
The metrosexual body is not about bulking up muscle; it is about staying toned and fit. A survey done showed that women believe that the body of dancers and swimmers are the best bodies. What do these two bodies have in common? They are both lean, but cut. They have fit abs, mid-sized arms, but they are slim. Long gone are the days where it was all about bulking up, it is now about staying fit. Here are some tips to help you maintain a metrosexual’s ideal body:
• Keep moving: Do some cardio. Go for a jog, hop on a treadmill, bike, stair master, whatever. The goal is to keep your heart pumping by keeping your body moving, that is how you will help yourself lose fat and stay fit. There are many things you can do to keep cardio going. Playing sports is a big one. Go play a game of basketball or soccer, any type of sport where you are constantly moving, squash is another good one. Dance if you like dancing, dancing requires you to keep moving and will help you cut the fat and keep fit.
• Burn that stomach: Crunches. Crunches and sit ups are the best for building abs. Crunches and sit ups do not help you lose weight, remember that! They are good for building your abdominal muscles, and it will start showing when you slim down through cardio.
• Work Your Upper Body: Push Ups, Pull Ups. Pull yourself up on a metal bar, depending on the way your arm is positioned, you will work out your shoulders or back, you will also work out your arm. Then, do some push ups, this will work your chest, arms and shoulder. The reason why I am not mentioning lifting weights is because your goal is to build long muscles, not bulk up like the Hulk.
• Work Your Lower Body: Squats. Squats will help you maintain your leg muscles. There’s nothing weirder than having a well-built upper body with some chicken legs. It looks really awkward; you’ll look like a tree or a sign post.
• Eat Right: Proper Diet. You do not have to follow a strict diet, but honestly, just cut out the junk food. That’s the simplest way of eating healthy. Anything that is supposed to be bad for you is bad for you. Just eat some more fruits, good fibers, vegetables, and lean meats. Eating healthy should help out A LOT!

Metrosexual Charm

What exactly is metrosexual charm? Metrosexual charm is a combination of elements in your personality that basically make your more likable. As a metrosexual, your charm is important to helping you succeed in life. It will help you socially with women and with people in general, making you more successful.
Charm is made up numerous personality elements. The most basic element to charm is friendliness. To be charming you must be social, you have to make people feel like they know you. This may sound harder than it actually is; it simply means that you have to relate to people. Just be talkative, not over the top where you don’t shut up, but answer people’s questions and ask questions. This will keep a conversation going, by both sides engaging in communication. When people ask you a question, do not give them one word answers, just elaborate and explain yourself. When you are done, ask a question that relates to the person whom you are speaking with. In turn, they will do the same, and you will become more likable. Be humorous, but not offensive. Smile, it makes you more approachable.
Another element to charm is your presentation. Make yourself look like you care about your looks. Dress appropriately, and groom, do not look like a bum. Wearing a baseball cap, sporting an unshaved beard, t-shirt, shorts and flip flops may be very comfortable, but if you are trying to be charming, you will look like a bum. Look good, and smile!
Last element to charm is the illusion of success. Travel, study art, etc. You will have stories to talk about, and people will be engaged in your tales of fine living. Do not brag, but every now and then you can relate to a conversation with a story about your adventures in France and your discovery of the history of the Eiffel Tower’s architecture.
All the elements of charm make you more successful. It will not come to your overnight, but with practice and experience, you will become a pro at being charming. It will help you with your entire life overall!
How to Dress For Your First Date

Looking good on the first date is not actually something that the women wants; they actually want you to look appropriate for the first date. But, that being said, looks can actually help you quite a bit! By looks, I don’t mean that you have to be Brad Pitt or Justin Timberlake, but you have to take care of yourself. Luckily, for the true metrosexual, this is not a problem, but there may be some tips which you have overlooked. Here are a few things you should make sure for the first date:
• Grooming: Make sure your hair is done. Get a hair appointment a few hours before, and make sure your hair is styled to your liking. Make sure you shave the day of your date as well. That does not mean that if your style is a scruffy beard, that you go clean shaved, but shave the parts that should not be there. If you have a goatee, shave the scruff that should not be there. If you have scruff, trim it so that it is not unattractive. Put some cologne on, don’t shower in it, but a couple of sprays near the neck does not hurt (if it’s near the neck, she’ll come closer to you, just a tip). Check your breath, make sure you shower and you should be groomed to go.
• Clothing: Make sure you dress appropriately. Do not be over the top, and do not be too dressed down. Dress to the occasion. Depending on how casual the date is, that should determine how casual your clothing should be. Do not wear a tuxedo to the movie theatre, but do not wear sneakers to a fine Italian restaurant.
• Jewellery: Jewellery does not matter that much, but if you insist on wearing a watch, or your earring, or any jewellery, just make sure it does not look cheap. Wear a nice watch, not a casio sports watch. Wear a nice thin chain, not a Flava Flav clock.
These are basically the nuts and bolts to dressing up on your first date. Remember though, it is not about how you look, it is all about how you present yourself. If you clean, and look like you take care of yourself, your lady friend will like that. It shows that you care, and hopefully you will put the same care into your lady!
